Fear and Madness: Brother Knows Best

Jonathan sighs as he watches the bullies stomp away like prideful primates. All muscle and no brains. They had the audacity to pick on the exchange student, Jervis, and it really enraged him, how they prey on the weak. Only monsters do that. Interfering costed him his left eye, but he doesn't care. He would have them on their knees begging for mercy, but they haven't hurt Jervis. Not yet anyways. "If those morons pick on you again, let me know, Jervis." 
Jervis sighed as he collects the stuffed rabbit that caught the attention of the bullies in one arm and puts a hand on his friend's shoulder. His wide blue eyes were that of a worried little brother. 
"John, really it's okay." The blonde one sighs to the auburn haired. "Your eye isn't, though. We must go to the nurse's."

Okay, I got the first issue of Batman Year One: Scarecrow (basically Scarecrow's origin story) in the mail today. I found the story quite exhilarating and I really can't wait until the second issue. 

I got the sudden urge to draw Jonathan Crane (Scarecrow) and Jervis Tetch (Mad Hatter) in middle school (again) . Because it's one of my favorite bromances and Crane /really/ needed a friend in his life. Canonically his only friend, Professor Pigeon stood by and let him get fired, thus Scarecrow is trapping him in his own home and giving him fear. 

Also, the text above, I know isn't the best. It's just the scenario that went on in my head. I try.
